Long time...

Good lord it's been a month since I've posted!! GEEZ! So much for being a good blogger. Guess I'll 'funk it up' a bit by using a different font today. :-)

Holy cow I had awesome goodies to work with and Stacy is an absolute sweetheart to work with!!! Talk about SWEET!!! I had TONS of fun working with the kit and felt SO honored to be asked to be a guest designer!!!!

I saw my name in print as an honorable mention at www.wipkits.blogspot.com and that was pretty cool. :-) Trish is another sweetheart too! :-)

Hard to believe that my oldest is 21 today. :-( I won't really talk about it because it's depressing for me on so many levels.....anyway........

THANK GOD it is Friday!! I sure hope the weekend doesn't fly by as fast as last weekend. Gonna try and get some cute workout clothes this weekend (I NEED motivation) and find a suit for my big ol' butt for the ONE time I might to swimming this year. Just the thought of it makes me wanna reach for a chocolate bar or a cold BudLight sounds really, really good right now because it is freakin' HOT outside and we all know how much I love the heat...NOT!!!

I feel like I'm in a rock and a hard place. At what point do you say to yourself - is it all worth it? Is it even about the money? Would the money make EVERYTHING okay?? I just don't think so. Does your sanity and self-worth have a price? Does pride and appreciation have a price? Does coming to a place everyday (where you KNOW you are not appreciated) have a price tag? is there a dollar amount that makes it okay to try and IGNORE all this BS, all the LIES?!!! I can't stand hearing all the crap - and WHERE is he even getting half of it?? I am babbling and not making sense. I don't even want to reread what I just typed. If anyone does even read this - please ignore. :-)

Two posts in one month? What gives?? Not a whole lot really.

Can't believe that June is right around the corner. Lordy. WHERE does the time go??

Had lots of fun cropping the day and night away this weekend. Was super happy with my layouts and wish I wasn't the only one who could last all night. Oh well...might have to have a party of one at my house and pull an all-nighter. It's just a little hard to recover but worth it none the less. :-) If I knew how to post layouts on a blog I would post a few but I have no idea how. Maybe I should do a little investigating.....

Can't wait...

It's really depressing when I feel like I am living for the weekends. I must stop that!!

I am the 'featured artist' on Wendy's blog today and that is REALLY exciting!! To see the "A" word listed with my name is super cool!! It totally made me smile seeing Wendy's post today!! I am going put her link right here: http://studio490art.blogspot.com/ Just in case anyone reads my blog. LOL!!

Going to the Cards game tonite and I can't freakin' wait! Bring on the nachos!! Sure hope the weather holds out though. One minute is looks like a downpour and the next is fine. So far, so good!

I had the most wonderful day last Thursday when I attended the Hospice Symposium in St.Louis. The speakers were AMAZING! Just wonderful and inspiring stories from all of the speakers. This girl here: http://iamobsessedwithlife.blogspot.com/ WOWZERS!! She is a walking miracle! She probably thought I was nuts because I went up to her before her presentation because I SWEAR I've met her before or somehow know her name. It was driving me nuts!! We must have met in a past life or something because it was totally making me crazy!! Anyway, her story is a true miracle and very emotional to listen too. The last speaker, Steven Jankowski (former TV reporter for channel 4 and 5) was AWESOME! He just had the best stories and was so great to listen too. Plus, he gave me the biggest hug afterwards when I thanked him for his presentation!!!! I just felt so uplifted and inspired after that day!!!

7 Random Facts...

Let's see...if though I wasn't officially 'tagged' by anyone I am gonna go ahead and list 7 random facts about me. Here goes....

1. I NEVER, NEVER walk around barefoot...it grosses me out!!
2. As a little girl I always wanted a horse. I would have all these books on bed about horses and my plan was that I'd fall asleep with them every night and my mom and dad would see how much I loved horses that they'd HAVE to get me one. I never got a horse....
3. My favorite color since forever has always been purple but lately I'm into PINK.
4. I've always been a night owl.
5. I've never gotten my eyebrows waxed but really, really want too. BUT, I have a HUGE fear of walking away with NO eyebrows!!
6. My daughter wants me to dye my hair a shade of red and I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about doing it.
7. I could live in a bookstore.

Well, that's it. Seven random tidbits about me. Nothing earth shattering.

A little girls night this weekend and I can not freakin' wait!!!!!!!! One full day and night of girl time sounds like bliss doesn't it??!! :-) If only it was Saturday right now!!!

Praise the lord in heaven there is FINALLY some sunshine today and the weather is actually NICE! I sure hope it lasts.

So many projects and stuff I wanna start in April. The little tag book that Cathy Z. designed is so stinkin' cute. LOVE the little template she designed! Since I"ve bought a refill for my Kodak camera I am gonna print a 'photo a day' hell or high water!! Want and NEED to get back in the scrappin' mode.....most of all, I NEED to journal. Lots of shit floating around my head lately - stuff that needs to get out and STAY OUT!!! :-)

:-) Okay, here is another post for the month of February. LOL.... can't say that it's gonna be anything exciting but here it is. Gonna shout out to my baby sis...BUBBA... who is now in Colorado...HI BUBBA!!!

I am SO freakin' sick of winter. I think it might actually be decent this weekend PRAISE GOD!! If so, I am gonna get my butt out in it and take a walk with the kiddos. Anything about 50 degrees sounds like heaven right now!!!

Can't believe March is right around the corner. Where in the heck did February go?? Something about the whole 28/29 days just makes it fly by!!!

Got a wedding photo gig for June. WOOHOO!!! Someone called today and wants more snapshots instead of the 'posed' stuff. I'm not the main photo person so that makes me SO MUCH MORE relaxed!! :-) Hopefully the weather is getting ready to break so I can get outside and rack up some pictures!!! :-)

I created a blog last freakin' year and haven't posted at all?! GEEZ?! What's up with that?? Guess I should try and be better this year even though I don't know WHO in blog land would ever find me. :-) February already. WTH?! I just hate how fast time travels when you don't want it too and then when you do (like work) time travels backwards. UGH!!

I can't figure out the weather in Missouri. 75 one day and snow the next. Do we even have seasons any more??
